New Look Fashion Store To officially celebrate the opening of a New Look store in London, The Style Studio were asked to collaborate on a fashion project called, 'Your New Look', the project invited young people from schools, colleges and youth clubs aged 11-18 to design and draw an original outfit for Spring that showed creativity and a real flair for fashion. The winning young designer received the opportunity of attending a 3-course placement at The Style Studio. |

Announcement!! The Disney Channel The Disney Channel have asked for our help to cast for a new UK series called fashion Wizards. They are looking to cast four young fashion fanatics to take part in the series and they will be given the opportunity to design and create their own range of clothing for a High street store. They are looking for both boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 14 to take part. They need to be available for filming throughout August and should ideally be London based. If you are interested in taking part then contact us on 020 8265 3833. 'So Televison' Documentary Are you aged between 7 and 13? Do you love fashion and looking good? Do your mates look up to your style? Are you a fan of designer clothes and pampering yourself? A Bafta and Emmy winning production company are currently looking for children, (boys and girls), and their parents to take part in an exciting show. They want to find children aged 7 - 13 who are extraordinarily interested in their appearance; children who have an eye for fashion and show a keen interest in maintaining their style. Creative Projects & Opportunities Harumika Themed Lessons Bandai toy company are working with the Style Studio to promote a new toy designers mannequin. It is a great way for children to have fun creating their own fashion designs. Harumika is a unique concept from Bandai, combining art and craft with fashion. It allows you to create your own line of bespoke couture fashions without having to pick up a needle and thread. It is very simple you insert pieces of fabric into the silicon strip on the back of the mannequin and they're fixed! You can experiment with layering, folding and twisting, and once you have made your own designs you can upload them at www.harumika.eu . The Style starter sets include one mannequin and a variety of fabrics and accessories and cost £9.99. The Style Studio are offering Harumika themed lessons from October using full size Harumika design mannequins. Harumika products will given away to all students attending the course, contact us for more details. Look out for competitions run by Bandai to win free places on the course. |

School Projects The Style Studio have worked with several schools around the UK, including Kingham Hill School in Oxfordshire where students were taught how to customise using world flags as their theme and Barking Abbey School where students attended a sewing machine master class. |
